Top barrel flat is marked "RICHARDSON" and two British proofs are present. There is a scroll engraving on the frame, upper tang, fish hammer, and trigger guard. Checkered one piece grip and swivel iron ramrod.

Condition: Good. The pistol has a mottled gray patina with some pin point pitting. The grip is very fine with some minor handling marks (more prevalent on the butt) and a moderate gouge. There is some wear in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.

B) Dovetail blade and fixed notch sights, with a Damascus twist pattern barrel, Liege proofed on the left flat. Scroll engraved breech, tang, hammer, lock and triggerguard. Ribbed stock with German silver fittings, an ebony tipped wood ramrod, and contoured buttplate with a silver face on the patchbox lid.

Condition: Fine, with 30% of the original case colors on the lock and hammer, with a gray patina forming along the edges. A small amount of pitting is visible on the barrel, with strong and well defined pattern. Stock is very good, with numerous scratches a small filled area on the front of the grip and extensive scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
