A) Bead front sight on a solid rib with a pair of British proofs on the underside of each barrel. The hammer, frame, trigger guard and butt compartment are scroll engraved. Fitted with a sling swivel ramrod. The one piece grip features extensive fine checkering and a thumb shield.

B) Fixed sights with the top of the frame marked "69 / BREVETE / SEDE" with a crown/GR proof. The partial serial number (9) is stamped on the trigger. The frame features a scroll engraving on the left and right sides that extends to the top. The hammer swivels to the right to permit capping. To fire the pistol, the ring trigger is pulled back to release the hammer. Once fired the action must be manually reset. Smooth one piece grip with iron ramrod in butt.

A) Fair. The pistol has been cleaned bright. The barrels and upper tang have extensive minor pitting, with the remaining surfaces have some minor pitting. The engraving remains clear. The grip is very good with some scattered minor bruising in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.

B) Very good. The pistol has a smooth dark brown patina with some minor dings on the barrel. The repaired and revarnished grip is good with some minor dings. Most of the varnish remains. The engraving is clear and crisp.
