For your bidding pleasure are Two Navajo J Roan Silver Turquoise & Coral Buckles. The first buckle shows a vine design cascading from a detailed embossed Grizzly Bear centered on the buckle. The turquoise is sleeping beauty turquoise, showing three stones to the left and right of the bear and on centered on the bottom of the bear. above the bear is a single coral polished stone above its shoulder. The second buckle shows the same vine design cascading from a flower with three large leafs accentuating the left and right of the flower and one coming out from the bottom. This buckle has a single sleeping beauty turquoise stone to the right of the bottom leaf and a polished coral stone to the left of the bottom leaf. Each buckle shows the makers mark of Jerry Roan, a "JR" marking it as a Navajo silversmith's work. Jerry Roan was a renowned Navajo silversmith artist in the 1960's and 1970's. This piece shows exceptional design and quality. The measurements for these buckles are 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" and 2 5/8" x2 1/8".
