Two Nagant Bolt Action Rifles A) Finnish Model 39 Rifle
Introduced shortly before the outbreak of the Winter War, and seeing use through the remainder of World War II. Blade front and tangent rear sights, both with protective wings, 1942 date, "SA" acceptance stamp and "S in gear" markings on the chamber, and an octagon receiver with a small marking removed from the top flat. A bow and arrow proof is present ahead of the magazine. Barrel is import marked. Smooth pistol grip stock, with 2 sets of sling mounts, clamp-on barrel bands and a smooth flat buttplate.

Condition: Fine as arsenal reworked, with 75% of the blue finish, showing bright edge wear, areas of gray patina and scattered handling marks. Stock is very good, with minor repairs to the toe, pressure dents and varnish loss. Mechanically very good.

B) Finnish Mosin Nagant Bolt Action Rifle with Sling
Built using a captured Russian Model 1891 receiver and an early style rear sight. Blade and folding ladder sights, the latter with the original "arshin" increments on the base ground down and replaced with meter increments. Chamber is marked "D/ VKT/ serial number/ 1944". Matching numbered bolt and import marked barrel. Smooth straight grip stock, with tan canvas sling, "16703" stamped on the right side of the buttstock and a flat buttplate.

Condition: Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with 95% of the blue finish, showing spotting and dings on the barrel bands, bright edge wear and scattered handling marks. Stock is also very fine, sanded with some dings, scuffs and varnish loss. Mechanically excellent.
