A) Fine. The barrel has an even gray patina showing spotting and some minor handling marks. The cylinder retains 80% faded original blue finish showing spotting and some light pitting. The frame retains nearly 95% of its original silver plated finish which has taken on a pleasant darkened aged patina with some brass visible along high points. The grips are very fine showing only a few minor pressure marks. Mechanically excellent.

B) Very fine. The barrel shows 40% original blue finish in the protected areas. The barrel address is faint. The cylinder retains 95% of the original bright thinning finish with a weak marking. The frame retains approximately 95% of the original silver finish with most of the loss on high edges and in the area of the extractor hook. The grips are good with exception of moderate high edge wear a repaired chip on the upper left side and a few minor dings and dents. The engraving is crisp and clear. The action is fine.
