A) Persian Model 49 Carbine with Bayonet. Commercial contract with large Persian crest on top of the receiver ring. All markings in Farsi except for a serial number on left side of forearm (matches receiver and buttstock numbers which are in Farsi) and rear sight graduations. Unique fixed front sight with ears and tangent rear sight. With bayonet marked "6120 / I" and "41cof" with scabbard.

Condition: Excellent. The carbine retains 98% plus original blue finish showing some thinning to a plum patina (mostly on trigger guard and floor plate). There are a few gouges on the underside of the forearm, otherwise the wood is excellent with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

B) Inverted "V" and tangent sights, with the top of the receiver ring having a large Argentina crest and the left side stamped with the two line model marking and the left receiver wall has the two line DWM marking. Matching number on receiver, bolt handle, trigger guard, stock, and cleaning rod. Barrel has caliber marking. Bright polished receiver, bolt, buttplate, and forend/bayonet lug with the remaining parts blue. Smooth stock with an oval proof on the buttstock (right side) and flat buttplate. With muzzle cover and green leather sling.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 98% plus original blue finish with some minor thinning. The finish remaining on the rear barrel band has a purple hue. The wood is also excellent with exception of a series of minor gouges on the buttstock (right side) along with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
