Lyman Autograph Letter Signed,</B></I> two pages, 8.25” x 13.5”, Springfield, Massachusetts, September 1, 1800, to an unnamed Major. Much of the letter regards the unfortunate soldier Daniel Laverne, who was suffering from “<I>a very serious complaint in his testicle</B></I>”. Chipped upper and lower edges, some stains, old archival repair along left edge. Good condition.<BR><B>Captain Thomas Fletcher Autograph Letter Signed,</B></I> two pages, 7.25” x 12.5”, Mt. Sterling (probably Kentucky), September 3, 1805, to an unknown person who is being “<I>appointed one of the Commissioners for the purpose of adjusting the Land Claims in Louisiana</B></I>”.
