<B>Two Letters Describing a Trip from St. Louis, Missouri to Trinidad, Colorado, April 1888.</B></I> The first letter, dated April 11, is on Union Depot Hotel stationary. It is two pages (front and verso). The second letter, dated April 13, is on United States Hotel stationary (Trinidad, Colorado) and offers a vivid account of the trip west. It is four pages (front and verso). The April 11 letter is chipped and weak at the folds.
