A) Manufactured in February 1931 by the Nagoya Army Arsenal. Early cocking knob and small trigger guard. Blue finish with straw colored trigger, safety and magazine catch. Fitted with horizontally serrated grips numbered to gun and a nickel plated magazine numbered to a different gun (375). Complete with an early production brown leather clamshell holster without the leather loop for a spare firing pin and has a shoulder strap. The interior of the flap as a small Japanese paper label.

B) Manufactured in February 1944 by the Nagoya Army Arsenal-Toriimatsu Factory. Late cocking knob and late large trigger guard. All blue finish. Fitted with horizontally serrated grips numbered to gun and a blue magazine numbered to a different gun (686). Complete with a brown leather clamshell holster with leather loop for spare firing pin and has a shoulder strap. The inside of the flap is hand marked "PISTOL / SERIAL / 7090 / TROOP-C. / 112TH CAVALRY / U.S. ARMY".

A) Excellent. The pistol retains over 98% original blue finish with some minor thinning and some gray on the edges. A smooth brown patina is developing on the gripstraps. The small components retain strong traces of original straw color. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor dings and scratches. The holster is very good with some minor handling marks. The stitching is tight.
