1) Type 94 Shin-Gunto, 26" blade, wavy temper line, silver finished brass collar and military tsuba and hilt. Tang signed. With proper sheath. Blade is excellent, with light handling marks. Hilt shows light staining and a broken mekugi, and the sheath is very good with a dent in one side. 2) As 1, 26 3/4" blade, slightly wavy temper line and non-military sheath. Tang not inspected. Blade and hilt excellent, sheath good. 3) Wakizashi style blade, 13 1/2" blade with strong temper line, silver collar, engraved tsuba and butt cap, brown cord wrapped rayskin grip and gold finish menuki. Brown sheath with white dots, cap absent. Blade is good, with spacers absent from hilt and replacement mekugi. Stock cracked. 4) Set of four Japanese flags, 2 "rising sun" and two "meatball", printed silk and cloth, with the largest being 27" x 37", with handwritten unit and capture markings. All are good or better, with minor staining and wear. 5) 10 1/2" x 8 1/2" silk flag, possibly a Korean War blood chit, printed with American, United Nations and Republic of Korea flags over a block of untranslated text. Good, with some loosening of the material.
