A) Fixed sights, with the barrel marked "GARDONE VT" and dated "943-XX". The stock is numbered to the gun and has boxed "crown/FAG/43" and circled "CG/17" cartouches. Complete with folding bayonet.

Condition: Excellent. The carbine retains 95% plus original blue finish with some minor thinning and some minor edge wear. The finish on the bayonet has taken on a purple hue. The wood is excellent with the exception of a noticable dent on the handguard and some scattered minor dings overall. Mechanically excellent.

B) Nazi Converted Italian Model 1938 T.S. Carbine with Bayonet
This is an example of an Italian Carcano carbine that was converted to 8mm Mauser caliber for their allies during World War II. Fixed rear sight marked "7.9", with barrel marked with the Italian Army "crown/RE" marking over "TERNI" and dated "1941 XIX". The letter "S" is marked on the chamber. Renumbered stock with leather sling. Complete with a bayonet with leather sheath.

Condition: Very good as partially refinished. The carbine retains scattered traces of original blue finish with the balance a smooth dark brown patina with some pin point pitting on the magazine with areas of cold blue touch up. The stock is very fine with a few minor gouges and a couple hairline cracks near the buttplate, along with some scattered minor dings.
