Publisher's original pictorial green cloth, stamped in gold, black and yellow on the cover, and lettered and with a small circular vignette on the spine. Top edge stained green, others trimmed. Cloth with very minor rubbing, slightly over-opened at half-title, previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown endpaper. Together with: <B><I>The Outlet</B></I></B></I> Illustrated by E. Boyd Smith. (Boston and New York: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1905). First edition, inscribed by Adams on the title page to Donald A. Ritchie. 8vo (7.5” x 4.75”). 371, 4, publisher's catalog pages Illustrated with six full-page plates. Publisher's original pictorial green cloth, stamped in gold, black and white on the cover, and lettered and decorated in gilt on the spine. Top edge stained green, others trimmed. Cloth with very minor rubbing, a bit of foxing and browning, especially to the preliminary and terminal leaves and including the title page.
