Offered for your bidding consideration is this pair of Hopi Yucca Sifter (called "tutsaya' in the Hopi language) baskets. These baskets are woven from the leaves of the narrow-leaf yucca. The Yucca Sifter basket is the only basket woven on all three Hopi mesas. The baskets are both natural golden brown in color. The larger of the two baskets is 12" in diameter, with the smaller measuring 11 1/4". Both baskets feature good, tight weaving and are in good condition.
