Two-headed Ceremonial Pig Fetish, 42" long x 14" high, an exceptional piece of African art from the Congo region, Nkisi peoples. Pig was used for "signing" an agreement between two parties by hammering a nail into the wooden pig. A mud encrusted mirror rest atop the pig so as to reflect back anything wrong with the agreement. One of many extraordinary pieces of Afrcian art offered by Brustlin Workshop designer showroom in Los Angeles. Please contact us for further information.
