1) Letter dateline Grass Valley, Nevada Co. Jan. 14, 1861. Jeremiah Lenee (?) and company have sold their mine claim on Middle Wolf Creek to William Biggs. Toning and fold lines (w/ separation starting). Tape residue on corners. 2) Second Grass Valley letter. Dated April 25, 1857. A. Wood Beaman is selling for $30 interest in Gatewood Claim located in Grass Valley ravine. Letter in poor condition: glue stains from being placed in a scrap book.
