1) Victorian era halberd in the style of 1490. Has a well forged 23 inch long head with thickened spike and a 68 inch round wooden shaft. 2) Same as above with a 69 inch round wooden shaft. 3) Boar spear that has a 15 inch forged steel head with 2 1/2 inch langets. The round walnut shaft is 47 1/2 inches with an 8 inch long ferrule at the bottom with 3 inch langets. Provenance: The William Ashby Collection

Condition:
1) Very good, the metal has a dark aged patina with the tip of the spike slightly deformed, some scattered light scratches and a slight crack at the bottom of the socket. The shaft is also very good with scattered minor dings and scratches. 2) Same as above. 3) Good, there is a gray/brown patina with minor pitting and some minor surface oxidation. The replacement shaft is very good with some minor wear overall.
