Assay Office of Geo. E. Rogers, Successor to G.W. Bell. G.W. A leaking box was brought in on an Eastern steamer and sent to the WF office for storage. This disaster swayed public opinion about nitroglycerine and caused Wells Fargo to no longer carry it in their coaches.
