A) Scarce WWI German Navy Flare Pistol. Introduced in 1915 and used by the Imperial German Navy through World War I. Butt is marked "ST & B14" for Stantien & Becker. All brass construction with smooth two piece walnut grips.

Condition: Very good overall the pistol has a smooth dark old aged dark brass patina with some minor scratches. The grips are good with a large chip near the bottom and an area of surface chipping at the top of the right panel, along with some minor dings. Hammer does not cock.

B) Right side of breech is stamped "MARK IV 1-7/16"". Checkered cast bronze grip.

Condition: Fine. The barrel retains 95% of the blistering repainted finish with some minor scratches. The cast bronze has a smooth dark patina with crisp grip checkering. Firing pin does not cock.
