<B>Two-Fisted Tales #24 Gaines File pedigree 10/10 (EC, 1951) CGC NM+ 9.6 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> This title and its EC companion, Frontline Combat, bore Harvey Kurtzman's stamp, from editing to scripting to drawing. The great innovator was only 15 when his first comic book work was published in the late 1930s, but his talent really came into its own with his efforts at EC from the late 1940s until his departure in 1956. He does the cover art here, and helps on the interior along with Wally Wood and Jack Davis. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $400.
