Two European Zweihander Style Swords

1) 15th/16th Century Style Zweihander, 65 inches overall with a 50 1/2 inch double edged triple fuller blade, outfitted with a set of 5 3/8 inch wide guard spikes, engraved with geometric designs, and marked "ANDREA FARARO ME FECIT" (Andrea Fararo made me) in one of the fullers. The hilt is equipped with side guard rings, 18 inch wide octagonal twist quillions, leather wrapped ribbed grip, and a conical pommel. Overall weight is 7.9 pounds. 2) Vienna Marked Zweihander, 58 3/4 inches overall with a 46 1/2 inch wavy blade, fitted with a pair of upturned 7 inch wide parrying hooks, and the stamp "WEIN" (Vienna, Austria) next to an "S" with two dots on one side. The hilt is equipped with a flat 14 1/8 inch wide cross guard with riveted side rings, ribbed hardwood grip and golden fringe around the conical pommel. Overall weight is 6.2 pounds. Though impossible to confirm, the pattern of damage on the blade edges and the light weight do suggest that this blade may have been made for combat, as opposed to being a pure display or parade item.
