Turned quillions, with a clamshell languet, leather wrapped twist pattern grip and a fluted cylindrical modern pommel. 17th century dagger guard and modern blade and pommel. 2) 18th century European hunting sword (hilt and blade non-matching), 38 1/4 inches overall, with a 32 3/4 inch single edge blade showing floral vine engraving and the inscription "SOLI DEO GLORIA" (all glory to God) on the lower third about 4 inches below what appears to be an undecipherable maker marking.
