Excellent, with 98% plus original blue finish, showing some mild edge wear and handling marks overall. Strong heat blue is present on the small components. Grips are also excellent, with a few light dents and handling marks. Box is very good, with material loss and a few tape repairs. Mechanically excellent.

B) Manufactured circa 1908-1911, the Schwarzlose 1908 uses an uncommon "blow forward" action, where the breech and cartridge remain stationary in firing, and the barrel is driven forward by a combination of gas pressure and projectile friction. Blade front and notch rear sights, with "SCHWARZLOSE" on the right side of the breech in an arc over a water cooled machine gun logo marked "A. W. Schwarzlose G.m.b.H. Berlin" on the left side. Fitted with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips, and a front strap grip safety with manual locking switch.
