A) Each Damascus barrel is numbered to its corresponding bolster. There are four barrels with a Liege "ELG" proof and "crown/F" proof stamped between barrels 1 and 2. A safety is positioned behind the floral engraved ring trigger. The front grip strap is marked "MARIRTTE/BREVETE". The frame and back strap are floral scroll engraved with "A. JANSEN AROr/DU ROI/BRUXELLES" marked on top of the frame. Fitted with nicely figured smooth walnut grips featuring an engraved screw.

Condition: Good. The revolver has a mottled gray patina with the barrels retaining much of the Damascus pattern. The grips are very good with some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
- B) Each Damascus barrel is numbered to its corresponding bolster. There are four barrels which are rifled. A crown proof is stamped between barrels 4 and 1. The frame and back strap are floral scroll engraved with the back strap also having the inscription "Perfectionne par Dessagne a St. Etienne". The serial number is stamped behind the ring trigger with the barrel cluster numbered to the gun. Fitted with smooth grips featuring an engraved screw.

Condition: Very good. The barrels retain half of the Damascus pattern with a smooth brown patina. The remaining metal surfaces have a mottled gray patina. The grips are good with a few hairline stress cracks and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
