A) Manufacturer: Italian Model: Flintlock
The breech end of the barrel has a brass band and a wedge of scroll engraving followed by "PIETRO MOROTA". The barrel tang has a light border engraving. The lock plate features a light floral scroll engraving and is marked "LANDI". The hammer also features the floral engraving. The pistol has brass furniture including the belt hook which is mounted on the left side. An engraving is also featured on the trigger guard, ramrod pipes and buttcap. A brass thumb shield is positioned behind the barrel tang.

Good. The barrel and action have a bright appearance with some light pitting (mostly on the barrel). The brass has a mixed aged patina with the belt hook being a replacement. The refinished stock has a couple repairs, a few hairline stress cracks, and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
B) Manufacturer: Unknown Model: Snaphaunce
No maker's marks or proof marks. Consignor notes state of Dutch origin manufactured circa 1730. Part round, part fluted octagon barrel, all iron mountings with decorative left side plate and thumb plate. Relief face on the back of the lock and on the trigger guard, patriotic motif on the butt cap and mounted on a full walnut stock with carved forearm. With wooden ramrod with iron tip.

Good. The metal surfaces have been cleaned at some time and remain bright with some scattered discoloration and minor pitting on the barrel. The trigger guard is missing the front screw. The stock has had a protective coat of varnish applied and remains good with a couple of old repaired cracks on the forearm and overall a few minor dents. The action is fine.
