1 ) German sword, no makers' marks on the 32" single fuller blade, with "Burgerschutzengilde Recklinghausen" etched on the right and "Burgersinn, Einigkeit, Vaterlandsliebe" on the reverse. Brass guard, with a castle design on the languet, checkering and shield patterns on the guard, a lion head quillion, wire wrapped leather grip and a red eyed lion head pommel. With a leather portapee, red and silver acorn, and metal sheath. 2 ) Weyersberg production sword, 33" single fuller blade with etched arms and flags around blue finished and gold accented inscription panels, with "Einj. Breim. Schonberger." on the right and "II.Grossh. Hess. Feld=Art=Regt. No61" on the reverse. Nickel hilt, with upturned rear quillion and wire wrapped rayskin grip. With a nickel finished sheath.
