<B>Two Early Kentucky Letters Dealing With Tobacco.</B></I> Includes a three page letter, 7.75” x 10”, Lexington, July 16, 1817, settling accounts for goods sold including “<I>manfd tobacco…1500 pounds of large twist or best Cavendish</B></I>”, ink slightly faded, with the usual fold creases, else very good; and a two page letter, 8” x 10.25”, Lexington, April 27, 1818, again settling accounts for tobacco sold, “<I>Annex'd you have Invt. Of 17 Kegs Tobacco which started from here on the 23rd for Louisville, from thence it will be shipd sic to messes Talcott & Barnes N. Orleans</B></I>”, toned with the usual fold creases, a hole corresponding to the wax seal, and a few small archival tape repairs, else very good. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
