Two Early 19th Century French Cavalry Swords

1) Klingenthal 1811 pattern sword. 43 3/4 inches overall, with a 37 3/4 inch straight double fuller blade, etched "Mnfture Imple Du Klingenthal Octobre 1813" on the spine and stamped "B" and "L" on the right. Brass 3-branch guard, with "38", "R", "F" and "457" stamped on the left and a wire wrapped leather grip. With an iron sheath. 2) Klingenthal 1822 sword. 42 1/4 inches long, with a 36 14 inch curved double fuller lade, marked "Manufre R'ale Du Klingenthal Marz 1827" on the spine with faint stamps on the right ricasso. 2-branch brass guard, with "967" stamped on the left, small proof marks on the right, and a wire wrapped leather grip. With iron sheath.

1) Good, with some light spotting on the blade, some scuffing of the leather, a well aged brass patina and mild handling marks on the sheath. 2) Good. The blade shows a mixed gray patina with mild spotting, with well aged brass. The grip wire has broken and been wrapped back together.
