A) Manufactured in 1906. According to the included factory letter dated December 4, 1991, this gun was shipped from the warehouse on July 19, 1907. According to the consignor the barrel has been factory replaced with a Winchester Model 53 barrel, caliber 44 WCF. The rifle has a button magazine. Hammer does not cock with lever action, but does cock manually. Wood refinished.

B) Made in 1904. Standard markings and features, with addition of scroll and punch-dot engraving on the frame and lever, with game scene on the left side, non-factory checkering on the forearm and stock, and a checkered shotgun buttplate. With factory letter, which confirms caliber, rifle configuration and half octagon barrel, that it was "From Stock" and a rubber shotgun buttplate was added. Shipped Oct. 17, 1906.
