Two very early pieces. A $50 territorial warrant (red border) issued to L.E. Munson June 1, 1868. Stamped paid 1873 by the noted bank Kountze Brothers in New York. Signed by James Tufts (?) as Secretary of Territory, and the auditor and treasurer (punch cancel thru one signature). Second bond is for $100 and issued to Jno. H. Ming. Same signatures, none punched. Cut cancel. Blue border with three coupons attached. Both feature same two vignettes: merchant at seaport and portrait of another figure.
