Signed by vice president JF Tabor (brother of Horace Tabor) and secretary McGowan. Not cancelled. Two mining vignettes, RN facsimile underprint. Deep folds. Owned two claims, 1500x300 ft. and a tunnel site, situated in Lackawanna Gulch, Lake Creek district, 18 miles from Leadville. Developed by a 160 ft. tunnel. [C&L, 1883 pg. 436] 2) Monitor Mining & Milling Company. "Location of Property, Summit County, Colorado" printed at top center. Inc. in NY. No. 268, issued for 100 shares in 1887. Signed by the president and secretary. Not cancelled. Black print on blue paper. Pinholes, folds. The Monitor Mine is located east of Breckenridge, Summit County.
