Two Derringer Style Percussion Pocket Pistols -A) Slotter & Company "Deringer" Pistol
Although marked as a Deringer, features are consistent with Slotter & Company production circa 1860-1863. Brass blade front and notch rear sights, "P" among zig-zags on the left side of the breech and "DERINGER/PHILADELA" on top. The Deringer address is repeated on the lock with engraving on the lock, hammer and bolster. Checkered bird's head stock with German silver furniture, mostly engraved and marked "5" on the rear trigger guard finial.

Fine. The steel components show a mixed gray patina overall with hints of brown, mild spotting and handling marks. The stock is good, with some light dents overall and a small crack on the left side near the breech. Mechanically very good.

B) Silver Banded Belgian "Stonewall" Pocket Pistol
Blade and notch sights, with "STONEWALL" on the top barrel flat, deeply aged silver bands on the breech, and light scroll engraving on the tang, lock and furniture. With a checkered birds head grip and German silver furniture.

Very good plus. The barrel shows traces of the streaked brown finish, with edge wear and spotting, with a darker brown patina forming on the breech and lock. The stock is good as repaired, with a replaced segment of wood on the right side ahead of the lock, some denting of the wedge escutcheons, and scattered scuffs and scratches. Mechanically fine.
