1) Brass hilted court sword. 38 inches overall, with a 32 1/4 inch lozenge cross-sectioned blade, etched scrollwork, blank inscription panels and the Royal Cipher of King George VI of Great Britain (reign 1936-1952) on each side. Gilt finished hilt, with beaded decoration and a vase-shaped pommel. With a brass fitted black leather scabbard. 2) Court sword, 27 inches overall with a 31 inch blade. Aside from the absence of a Royal Cipher, is similar to #1 in configuration.

1) Very good. A small amount of pitting is visible on the blade, with a fine aged patina on the brass. The guard has been turned downward. Some light scuffs and cracks are visible on the leather. 2) Fair, with scattered dark spots and a small amount of pitting on the blade, and a mellow aged patina on the brass. The scabbard is fair, with the throat loose and a number of scuffs and cracks on the leather.
