A) Second Model manufactured from 1864 to 1869 while the company was located in Philadelphia. Three line address/patent dates (1851-1863) marking on the top barrel flat with matching numbers on butt, loading lever, barrel, and cylinder. With a reproduction Copper double action revolver advertisement.

Condition: Fine. The barrel retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a mottled brown patina and the cylinder has a smooth gray patina. The frame and loading lever retain 30% original case colors. There is some mild pitting. The grip straps have a smooth untouched brass patina. The revarnished grips are very good with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.

B) Manufactured from 1864 to 1869. This Second Model features the three line address/patent dates marking on top barrel flat, rebated cylinder numbered to gun, silver plated brass grip straps, and smooth varnished walnut grip. Matching numbers on butt, loading lever, barrel and cylinder.

Condition: Very good. The revolver retains 30% bright original blue finish on the cylinder and scattered flashes of original case colors with the overall balance a mottled gray patina. There is limited mild pitting. The grip straps retain strong amounts of original silver plating on the trigger guard with the exposed brass having an untouched aged patina. The grip is fine with most of the varnish remaining, extensive high edge wear (mostly on the right side) and some minor handling marks, along with series of minor dings on the bottom. Mechanically fine.
