Two Consecutively Serialized First Year Production Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolve
Manufactured in 1956, this lot consists of two consecutively serialized first year production Colt 2nd Generation Single Action Army Revolvers with identical features. The revolver has the standard one line Hartford barrel address with "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on the left side. The frame has the two line, three patent date marking with the Rampant Colt on the left side. Casehardened frame, polished hammer sides and remaining parts blue. Fitted with a one piece ivory grip.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with minor muzzle wear and minor thinning on the grip straps. The cylinder has numerous minor scratches and a noticeable drag line. The frame retains nearly 97% original case colors with some fading to gray. The grip is excellent with only the slightest handling marks. The ivory has a nice grain pattern and a very attractive color. Mechanically excellent.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original blue finish with thinning on the muzzle, muzzle end of the ejector housing and grip straps. With a number of minor scratches and a noticeable drag line on the cylinder. There is a minor ding on the barrel at the muzzle. The frame retains 95% original case colors. The grip is excellent with only the slightest handling marks. The ivory has a nice grain pattern and a very attractive color. Mechanically excellent.
