The first is three pages, dated February 12, 1863, a House Bill allowing furloughs for soldiers requiring more than a month to heal, and discharges from the army for those permanently unfit for duty. The second is a bill of eight pages, unopened as printed, exempting certain persons from military duty including ministers, though "Dunkards, Nazarines, or Menonists... shall furnish a substitute or pay a tax of five hundred dollars...." Both of these scarce imprints are in fine condition.
