A) Manufactured in 1875. Features short flutes with locking notches behind the flutes. Two line Hartford address on top of the barrel flanked by Maltese crosses, etched "COLT NEW 32" on the left barrel side, and "32 CAL" on left side of frame. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, and cylinder.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 90% original nickel finish with minor flaking (more prevalent on the cylinder). The etched panel is clear. The grips are good with some high edge wear and some minor handling marks. Mechanically functions, but slight loose.

B) Manufactured in 1876. Features long cylinder flutes and locking slots on the back. Top of barrel has the two line Hartford address, etched "COLT NEW 22" on the left side of barrel, patent marking on barrel underside, and "22 CAL" stamped on the left side of the frame. Matching numbers on right grip panel, frame, barrel, and cylinder.

Condition: Very good plus. The barrel and cylinder retain 60% original nickel finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. There is some minor pitting (mostly on the cylinder). The frame retains 80% original nickel with the exposed brass having an untouched patina with numerous minor dings on the butt. The etched panel is clear. The grips are good with numerous minor dings on the right panel and on the bottoms of both panels, along with some minor high edge wear. The cylinder pin catch is missing. Action needs work.
