A) This revolver is a First Model, manufactured in 1874. It features the standard two line Hartford address flanked by Maltese crosses on top of the barrel, the serial number on the underside and "32 CAL" on the left side of the frame. The matching serial number is marked on the left side of the frame under the grip and the bottom of the barrel. All nickel finish with niter blue trigger. Blade front and frame notch rear sights. Fitted with two piece smooth pearl grips.

B) This revolver is a Second Model Colt New Line manufactured in 1877. It features the standard two line Hartford address on top of the barrel, patent marking and serial number on the underside, etched panel "COLT NEW 32" on the left side. "32 CAL" stamped on the left side of the frame. The matching serial number is also marked on the left side of the frame under the grip. Fitted with smooth varnished rosewood grips.

A) Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original nickel finish with minor flaking on the muzzle and scattered light "frosting". There are a few minor dings on the upper edge of the left side of the frame and overall some light scratches and minor handling marks. The grips are excellent with exception of a few minor chips and cracks at the frame juncture, otherwise light handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is tight and smooth.

B) Excellent. The revolver retains 98% of the original nickel finish with only some very light muzzle wear, some small areas that are beginning to "frost" and overall some minor light scratches. The cylinder has some light wear on the front face, and no external drag line. The grips are excellent with some high edge wear and a few scattered minor dings and dents. The etched panel is clearly visible, and the markings are crisp. The action is excellent.
