Two Colt Double Action Revolvers A) Colt Police Positive Double Action Revolver
Manufactured in 1928. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/patent dates, the left side is marked "POLICE / POSITIVE -38 SPECIAL", and the Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Standard blade and frame notch sights. Fitted with checkered grips embossed with "COLT" at the tops numbered to the gun.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original blue finish with some minor muzzle wear and some scattered mild spotting (more concentrated on the backstrap). There are some minor dings on the muzzle and on the left rear side of the top strap. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp. The markings are clear.

B) Colt New Service Model Double Action Revolver with Holster
Manufactured in 1917. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/1884, 1900, and 1905 patent dates and the left side is marked "NEW SERVICE 45 COLT", with the rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Standard blade and frame notch sights, lanyard ring on the butt, all blue finish with hammer sides polished and fitted with checked grips featuring "COLT" at the tops. Complete with a leather flap holster.

Condition: Very good. The revolver retains 70% original blue finish with the barrel thinning to a smooth plum patina, with some scattered minor pitting and spotting. The grips are fine with some scattered minor handling marks and some wear in the otherwise crisp checkering. The holster is good with overall minor handling marks and flex wear with some missing stitching on the belt loop.
