1) U.S.C. Roby Model 1860 Light Cavalry saber, 34 1/2" double fuller blade with "1864/ A.G.M" on the right ricasso and makers mark on the reverse, 2-branch guard, Phrygian helmet pommel, leather and wire grip and iron scabbard. 2) Unmarked 1860 Pattern Light Cavalry saber, 34 3/4" blade unmarked blade, otherwise as #1.

Condition: 1) Very good, with some light discoloration on the blade, light handling wear of the leather grip wrap and a mixed patina on the brass. The iron scabbard has a dark, unpolished patina. 2) Very good. The blade shows only light wear. The brass guard is very good. The leather grip cover and wire wrap are excellent. The scabbard has a shallow dent near the drag, but is in otherwise very good condition with a dark patina.
