1) McKee Consolidated Hydraulic Limited. # 748 for 1000 shares to George A Lawthwaite(?). Signed by Roberts and president Hamslaw. Dateline 1903. Incorporated 1901. Not cancelled. Three mining vignettes. Small rips on fold edges. No other edge, corner or discoloration. Very nice. There was a scarcity of water and the uncomfortably close quarters into which Ginaca & Co and the McKee Consolidated Hydraulic Limited had worked themselves in 1904 which induced the latter company to suspend operations for this season so as to enable the said Ginaca & Co to work past the point of conflict. In 1906 the McKee was advertising again! In that year superintendent Davis was going around showing 230 ounces of gold worth about $2,800. 2) Dryden Gold Corporation. # 862 for 100 shares to George A Seligman. Signed by Tucker and president Evans. Dateline 1923. Incorporated 1922. Not cancelled. In 1923 it was reported the company had 3 shafts, 150 HP steam power plant, 30 ton concentration unit, 10 stamps and 25 men working. Ken Prag Collection
