A) British No. 4 MK 1* Flare Pistol. Developed by the Molins Machine Co. during World War II. Left side of barrel has the model marking and several parts have a circled "MMC" factory marking. Checkered grips.

Grips: hard rubber

Condition: Very good. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina with numerous minor scratches on the frame. There is a large chip missing from the bottom of the left grip, otherwise the grips are very good with some minor handling marks. There are some minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering.

B) Left side of barrel dated "1938" over the two line Birmingham address over model marking. Proofed barrel and frame with additional model marking on left side of frame. Checkered grips with lanyard ring on butt.

Condition: Very good. The pistol retains 50% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The grips are fine with some minor handling marks. There are some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering.
