This carbine was manufactured in 1979 and has a blade front sight and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. Standard markings on barrel and "Legendary Frontiersmen" on right side of barrel. Engraved scenes of frontiersmen on both sides of the antiqued silver frame. Checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with medallion on right side depicting a frontiersman fighting a hostile. Smooth blued metal buttplate. In original Winchester box numbered to the gun.

Condition: Excellent with a small area of finish wear on the barrel. The wood is also excellent with only the slightest handling/storage marks. The box is good.

B) This saddle ring carbine was manufactured in 1976 and celebrates the bicentennial of the United States. The antique silver finished receiver is engraved "76" inside a circle of stars on the right side with a large bald eagle on the left side. The blued barrel is marked "Bicentennial 1776-1976" on the right side. The multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with an inlaid medallion of a man on horseback on the right side of the buttstock. With the original Winchester picture box numbered to the gun.

Condition: Excellent with only a small area of finish wear on the barrel. The wood has a small ding on the forward part of the comb and some residue on the buttstock which is otherwise excellent. Box is very good.
