Two Bolt Action Rifles A) Italian Type I Japanese Contract Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet
Manufactured In Italy for Japan during WW II, this rifle is absent of any markings except for the serial number on the left rear of the barrel. Inverted "V" ramped front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 2400 meters, straight bolt handle and mounted with a pistol grip walnut stock and handguard with a steel buttplate, finger grooved forearm and sling swivels. Complete with a slotted cleaning rod and saber bayonet with a metal scabbard and leather frog.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle appears unissued, retains 99% original blue finish with some minor spotting on the muzzle end of the barrel. The stock is very good with a number of minor scratches and dings on the left side forearm area and overall a few minor dings and handling marks. The action is excellent. The bayonet, scabbard and frog are all good. The blade shows evidence of some sharpening, the scabbard has a mix of original finish and smooth patina and the frog shows some wear with tight stitching.

B) Unidentified Prototype Military Bolt Action Rifle
This is a unique unfinished, in-the-white example of a Siamese Mauser style bolt action military rifle. The rear sight is a tangent style with a ski slope base and hand engraved elevation numbers.

Condition: Very fine. The metal surfaces, except the bolt assembly, are in the white unfinished state. The bolt assembly retains almost all of the original blue finish. The stock is fine with scattered minor dents, dings and scratches. The action is fine.
