These two unusual items of jewellery were crafted in Germany around 1870. They are made from intricately woven hair and rolled gold finials and central pendants. The type of jewellery often had a sentimental value, as the woven hair usually belonged to a loved person of the beholder. This jewellery Is highly sought after today for the fact that it has lasted through time. These two examples are of exceptional quality.



The two chains are in good condition with slight traces of age. The watch chain is approximately 27 cm long and bares the initials “O.S.”. The necklace has a length of ca. 40 cm. (khe)
