Two Belleek Parian Porcelain Shamrock Pattern Items
This lot features two distinct pieces of Irish parian porcelain produced by Belleek Pottery, both decorated with the traditional hand-painted green shamrock pattern on a creamy ivory ground. The first item is a small bud vase with a bulbous lower body featuring a molded basketweave design, a waisted neck, and a flared rim. The base is marked with the Belleek Seventh Mark in gold, dating the piece to the period between 1980 and 1993. The second item is a slender ewer with a lobed bulbous body, a long neck, a pulled spout, and an arched handle. The base of the ewer displays the Belleek Sixth Mark in green, dating it to approximately 1965 to 1980. Both pieces exhibit the translucent quality and luster glaze characteristic of Belleek porcelain.
