Comprising; an octagonal Chinese export plate centered by a gilt monogram encircled by a green and puce swags; together with a lobed Lowestoft soup centered with a gilt monogram, enclosed by a floral swag and two blue rims, the details picked out in gilt. Export 9 1/4"d, Lowestoft 9 1/2"d. Provenance: The Carborundum Museum of Ceramics, England. Condition: Chinese plate with 3" hairline crack, wear to surface and enamel, small rim flakes and one rim chip to verso. Lowestoft plate with general wear, small rim chips to recto and verso.
