Two Antique Spur Trigger Revolvers A) Scarce F.D. Bliss Pocket Revolver
Manufactured from 1863 to 1864 with a total production of an estimated 3,000. The top of the barrel is marked "J.D. BLISS. NEW HAVEN - CT" and the serial number is marked on the left side of the frame under the grip. The matching number is written on the inside of each grip panel. The cylinder is marked "1044". Fitted with smooth square butt grips.

Condition: Very good. The revolver has a mixture between a brown patina and a gray patina with some mild pitting (mostly on the cylinder). The grips are very fine with some minor handling marks.

B) Springfield Arms Co. Pocket Model Revolver
Manufactured circa 1863 with a total of 6,000 produced. The revolver has the one line barrel rib address, 5-shot cylinder, and a loading grooved on the right side of the frame with a loading gate. Fitted with smooth square butt grips.

Condition: Very good. The barrel and cylinder have a smooth brown patina with scattered traces of original blue finish on the barrel. There is some minor pitting. The frame retains 60% original silver plating with the exposed bass having a fine aged patina. The grips are fine with some minor scratches, along with a few minor nicks along the bottom edges.
