Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% frosted original nickel finish with some loss on the cylinder and some minor flaking overall. The grips are also excellent with some minor scratches. Action needs work as the hammer does not hold at the full cock position.

B) Factory Engraved Hopkins & Allen Blue Jacket Number 2 Revolver with Ivory Grips
This factory engraved 5-shot revolver is marked with the two line Hopkins & Allen patent date (1871, 1879) marking and "32 CAL RIM FIRE/ BLUE JACKET NO 2" on the top strap. Floral and punch dot engraved frame and barrel sides, with a punch dot scroll engraving on the cylinder. Matching serial number on the frame, cylinder and barrel. Fitted with ivory grips with the number "16" on the backs.

Condition: Very fine. The frame and barrel retain over 95% original nickel finish with some scattered mild flaking. The finish has a slight frost appearance. The cylinder has a smooth brown-gray patina. The shrunken grips are fine with some minor scratches. The ivory has an attractive even aged color.
