Two Antique European Bolt Action Rifles A) Steyr Model 1888 Bolt Action Rifle
Blade and folding ladder sights, with "CE/ WG/ STEYR/ 1890" on the receiver ring and "Gew.88." on the receiver sidewall. Matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, magazine and stock, mixed numbers on the barrel bands and "171.R.6.152." on the front band. Smooth straight grip stock, with one sling swivel and a flat buttplate.

Condition: Fine, with 60% of the original blue finish, with a dent in the left side of the barrel, areas of brown patina, bright edge wear and scattered spotting and handling marks. Stock is very good, with scuffs, scratches and mild chips. Mechanically very good.

B) French Model 1871 Single Shot Bolt Action Rifle
Converted to the 6.5mm cartridge, as used by the French Navy and Military of Uruguay. Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with "SFAP/ St. Denis" on top of the chamber, "1880" on the right side and "I.G. Mod. 71." on the left side of the receiver. Smooth straight grip stock, with sling swivels and a flat buttplate.

Condition: Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina and scattered spotting and handling marks. Stock is also very fine, with pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically very good.
