A) Standard two line marking on top of the barrel, light floral engraving on the frame, and checkered bird head walnut grips. Matching numbers on frame, barrel, and both grips.

Condition: Fair. The derringer has a cleaned bright gray patina with minor pitting overall. The grips are fine with high edge wear and some minor handling marks. There is an area of worn checkering on the right panel, otherwise checkering is crisp. Mechanically fine.

B) Manufactured in 1875. Two line Hartford address on top of the barrel and "COLT NEW 30" etched in a panel on the left side of the barrel. "30 CAL" is stamped vertically on the right side of the frame behind the recoil shield. Matching numbers on barrel, cylinder, frame, and right grip panel.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 90% original nickel finish with flaking exposing smooth gray patina. The etched panel is clear. The grips are fine with most of the varnish remaining, some minor high edge wear, and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
